However, theres a ton of people there and you have to wait for space to open up so you can jump in. Its just a ton of loose bricks, which was one of the more fun things available. Other things - theres a nice area for young kids to play with Duplo style blocks. Again, interactive displays were hit or miss on functionality or whether they did much of anything. The Cowboys and Rangers stadiums were both done quite well and I liked those. The downtown Dallas model was pretty neat, as was the DFW mockup. One area had Star Wars themed sets and that was pretty good, although the interactive display was broken on one and closed for maintenance on the other. Quite a few used non-Lego pieces but some were almost exclusively made from Legos.
Nothing amazing but the interactive feature was a bit of a novelty.ĭisplays - There were some pretty cool buildings and random scenes made from Legos. Its a Harry Potter theme and each rider pedals to raise the their sled height. The 3rd ride had several cars in a circle with one and adult and one kid for each sled-type vehicle. My son had a lot of fun driving the car although his quit working occasionally. The track is a figure eight with the middle blocked so its more of an oval with a squeeze into the middle. The 2nd ride is a for kids only and its small electric cars on a track. That was probably the most fun an option available for adults, although some of the interactive displays didnt work at all or at least not fully. The 1st ride is something like an interactive haunted house but you have a little pistol with a laser so you can shoot targets and interactive displays. Rides - Overall, the facility is in good condition.
Most of the stuff is for kids only so paying the same price for an adult to sit around and watch is iffy at best. Price - I paid just over 30 for both of us to go, which is more than I would have liked to pay. I was concerned it would be a nightmare based on what others said in their reviews but it wasnt bad. My six year-old son and I visited on a Monday morning and we went through just about everything there was to do in less than two hours.
